The cultivation of the FIG TREE is extremely interesting and current. The fruit, with a high demand on the market, has high prices. The plant, typically Mediterranean, adapts to dry climates and mountainous terrain, poor and no watered. Anti-parasitic treatments are no necessary, so the product is 'organic'.
PRUNING: Is simple, doesn't need fruit thinning.

Tree moderately vigorous, open shape, penthalobal 30% trilobal 40% whole 30%. Production from 12/06 to 03/07 VERY LARGE (160/180 gr) early figs oval shaped. Brown puprle skin, amber color pulp, sweet, juicy, little resistance to handling. Figs poor value because the lowe size. Suitable only for local consumption. |
Tree moderately vigorous, open shape, trilobal leaves 40%, 60% penthalobal. Production early figs from 5/07 to 25/07 and from 20/08 to 30/09 figs. The early figs are cone-shaped or pear-shaped similar to a cucumber more or less with pronounced neck and closed ostiole. Average weight of 70 gr., Subtle all-black skin, pink-amber consistent pulp, tamper-resistant. Figs are slightly shorter than the early figs, black leather, subtle, red pulp, average weight of 65 gr. Produce only figs from 25/09 until the first winter frosts even after the fall of the leaves. Figs with conical shape, very long neck and woody stem, average weigh 50/70 gr., Subtle red-wine color skin at beginning of ripening and pink-green at the end of ripening, consistent pulp, red, very resistant to handling. It is very interesting for its multiple uses and late ripening season. |

Redskin or purple, light pink color pulp, juicy, medium firm, very fine from which it derives its name. The figs ripen from 20/08 to 20/10 and are similar to the early figs with an average weight of 65 gr. Excellent resistance to handling, suitable for local consumption. |
